Businessweek By MARI YAMAGUCHI TOKYO One of Japan’s crippled nuclear reactors still has fatally high radiation levels and much less water to cool it than officials had estimated, according to an internal examination that renews doubts about the plant’s stability. A tool equipped with a tiny video camera, a thermometer, a dosimeter and a water [...]
Some 24.4 percent of people who were hospitalized in Fukushima with psychiatric disorders in the wake of the outbreak of the crisis at the crippled Fukushima No. 1 Nuclear Power Plant had done so possibly because of fears of radiation exposure..
Tokyo Soil – Blanketed With Fukushima Radiation – Would Be Considered “Radioactive Waste” In the United States
Nuclear engineer Arnie Gundersen took 5 random soil samples in Tokyo recently, and found that all 5 were so radioactive that they would be considered radioactive waste in the United States.
In a groundbreaking new study just published in the peer reviewed journal Stem Cells, researchers at UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center Department of Oncology found that, despite killing half of all tumor cells per treatment, radiation treatments on breast cancer transforms other cancer cells into cancer stem cells which are vastly more treatment-resistant than normal cancer cells.
The Intel Hub By Alexander Higgins – Contributing Writer March 12, 2012 Nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen is raising the alarm for the people in Tokyo, warning that Fukushima is 10 times worse than Chernobyl and at least 1 million will get cancer over the next 20 years. While many think they are out of the [...]
The Intel Hub March 9, 2012 New radiation tests carried out by the EnviroReporter have recorded the highest levels of radiation in California yet. A March 6th test of a HEPA filter recorded radiation levels 668% or 6.68 times the normal background radiation levels. This test took place 43 days after initial tests and shows [...]
This coming week will mark the first anniversary of Fukushima’s multiple meltdown nuclear disaster. There is little data on how badly contaminated the now-abandoned area of forced evacuation is in the 20-kilometer (12-mile) zone around the Fukushima plant.
The Intel Hub By Tony Muga According to several stunning editorials by author Lucas W. Hixon and Joy Thompson on the website Enformable.com, evidence obtained through an FOIA request reveals a ‘cover-up’ by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in an effort to conceal the severity of the meltdowns in Fukushima, Japan. The FOIA request was initiated by the Friends [...]
What is extremely alarming, is the severity and frequency of the quakes that hit around Japan, March 11th, and onward. The tectonic activity almost seems as if it was induced, concentrated in the Japan area, pounding the entire region. Was this an attack or planned event? Is the radiation worse then officials claim?
Kabayama was a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly for the Liberal Democratic Party and had been measuring radiation in an assortment of locations throughout Tokyo. He would then upload his findings to his blog for the world to read, and on the day before he died (June 30, 2011) he measured 0.25 microSv/h in Mizumoto Park in the Katsushika ward located in Tokyo.
TVNZ A 200 metre cordon was placed around a cargo plane during a radiation scare at Auckland Airport. The Fire Service was called to the international section of the airport just before 8pm and confirmed that radiation had been picked up on a freighter aircraft. Three fire engines, including a hazmat unit, and a technical liaison [...]
Yahoo News By Jamie Reno | The Daily Beast The anti-nuclear power movement in the United States peaked in 1979, with widespread protests, the “No Nukes” concert in New York City, and the release of The China Syndrome, the gripping film about a near-meltdown at a fictional California facility that foreshadowed a real-life accident at [...]
Intel Hub Kevin Kamps, a radioactive waste watchdog from the group Beyond Nuclear, recently appeared on Russia Today with some startling information. As we reported multiple times in the last week, the pipe ruptures and other problems at the San Onofre nuclear power plant caused a “small” radiation release. Now, with more unbiased information coming [...]

Intel Hub Shepard Ambellas January 28, 2012 Evidence from the Fukushima Diachi disaster yields results that show a ”natural weaponization” of nano-particles related to the incident, signifying the potential for a previously planned event. A report from the PNAS entitled Uranyl peroxide enhanced nuclear fuel corrosion in seawater reads; The Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear accident brought together compromised irradiated fuel [...]
