Early Life
Nicholas Scott Cannon was born in San Diego, California on October 8, 1980. His grandfather primarily raised him. He grew up in Lincoln Park’s Bay Vista Housing Projects. Cannon was connected with the Lincoln Park Bloods street gang as a teen but abandoned the team when he dropped a close buddy to violence.
He started performing in the early age, and at age 11 he was performing humour on his dad’s local cable access tv series. Cannon graduated from Monte Vista High School in 1998.

Nick Cannon was married to singer Mariah Carey from 2008 to 2016. They were married in her mansion on Windermere Island in The Bahamas. They have two kids together, twins Monroe and Moroccan Scott.
