L&T Technology Services (LTTS) is a technology services firm based in Vadodara, Gujarat. The Business also has offices in Edison, New Jersey, Munich, and even a subsidiary firm Esencia, located in San Jose, California.
History
In its first year, the Business made $70 million in earnings. Initially, it only functioned as the technology arm of L&T. In 2013, as a consequence of L&T’s plan, the parent company was divided into”nine verticals and six subsidiaries,” of which this was one.
It started to expand its technology solutions as a developer of new technology options to different businesses under a new brand name L&T Technology Services (LTTS). A. M. Naik, the present band chairman of the parent firm, stayed chairman of the subsidiary before his retirement in October 2017. Keshab Panda was called the CEO and managing director and S N Subrahmanyan as vice chairman of the provider.
In 2017, L&T Technology developed a group of personal safety equipment that’s based on cloud-enabled engineering. The machine involves a pair of”gloves, helmets, coats, and shoes which have detectors capturing functionality, and sending it into a searchable database on the cloud.”
In June 2017, L&T Technology completed Esencia’s purchase, a San Jose, California-based engineering company involved with the growth of”wireless connectivity alternatives, perceptual computing, Web of Things and innovative ion products” for about $27 million. In July, the company was updated to Group A of the Bombay Stock Exchange.
