In a large office, there are bound to be several birthdays each month. Celebrating each one individually can get overwhelming. A better idea is to schedule a time once a month for everyone to get together. A restaurant, bar or local park are all venue options available to have a party.

People have all sorts of hobbies, many of which are great for a small group. Playing chess, walking dogs, reading books and cooking are a few ideas that others may find interesting. You can join an already organized group in your community or host your group at a local coffee house or someone’s home.

Giving back to your community is a great way to boost morale in your workgroup. Collect toys at Christmas, donations for food drives, coats for underprivileged kids or volunteer in a soup kitchen. The opportunities are endless because there are always needs in the community.
