The Cosmic Staff of Starman is a crime-fighting device powered by stellar energy. The staff is self-aware and chooses a new user after the previous one is killed or loses their self-confidence. It has anti-gravity powers which give the person who wields it gymnastic abilities. It bonds closely with the person who uses it and is able to sense their needs and intentions. The staff uses energy to fight off and block attackers in combat situations.
